I had a T3 dryer in the states--currently in storage due to the voltage difference. Man, I love that baby. But I have the type of hair requiring industrial strength power. I found the video posted by Heather really interesting, actually. I find that a more powerful dryer and ion function dries my hair faster. I suspect a lot of people don't notice this because their hair dries quickly anyway, but with your average Joe dryer mine takes a good 20 minutes. I need power. seriously. Having said all that, Anna, you can probably get away with a cheaper dryer, no? Your hair is not heavy and a little wavy? I have had good luck with my Braun dryer that I bought in Germany. It is no T3, but at a fourth of the price it is not too bad. Man I wish I had that T3 though. But maybe their quality is going down hill? I bought mine around 2006.

I have a T3 too. Mine is an Evolution which I don't think they even make anymore. I've had mine for 4 or 5 years, but I have heard others having problems with the T3 line. Maybe check out Sultra, Sedu, or Solia.

Michelle posted this on Angie's Weekly Links a while ago: (it explains that you should buy a specific type of dryer for your specific hair type)

I'm sorry your fancy dryer is dying. ; _ ;

Sorry, I have the same one you do. Mine is the smaller size. It was supposed to dry faster than other hair driers but, frankly, it doesn't. It does get nice and hot, though!

If I were you I'd spend some time reading Sephora reviews?

So my very expensive, supposedly top of the line T3 hair dryer is on it's last legs. For what i spent on it, I expected more than 2 years and I did clean the filter.
I went to Ulta today but was a bit confused. I don't mind spending money if it's going to last.
Any suggestions?
