My four-year-old has been really ill, and that always makes you anxious as hell. It turns out he has whooping cough, but he's on the mend now, thankfully. And then after four appointments this month to fix a front cap (two at the dentist, two at the dental lab to make sure the tooth matched the other ones), one of my back teeth cracked and needs a root canal and crown. I always shut the lid if I'm not actually engaged in "activity". I heard once that flushing with the lid open spews microscopic droplets of "you know what" into the air. Ever since then, once I stand up, I shut the lid and then flush. That also makes sure the dog (furbaby) doesn't decide to try to use it as his personal drinking fountain. Sorry you had to drop those items IK! I guess the toothbrush is the grossest one but is replaceable. Did it damage the Iphone?
