I am so glad DH isn't driving you mad and send best wishes that his dr. thinks he is on right track.
You do sound busy and maybe the March weather will keep you from being tempted to the great outdoors? I have been trying to think that way myself

Oh Nancy, I'm SO glad to hear things are going (relatively) well for you and DH! I appreciate you checking in with us. Good luck on your writing deadline; it's good that your creativity is flowing freely. Please post us "going to meet the editor" outfits in May when it's time. I hope you and hubs continue to heal up and do well with your PT. Boo for March-like weather, but perhaps you prefer it? You have such fab boots and jackets!

Hi, everyone. So many amazing outfits that I am only getting the briefest glimpses of them and not focused enough to comment, but you ladies have been really pulling off some major style recently! Wednesday I have a 25-page fiction manuscript that I need to finish and upload for an upcoming May conference; I'll be meeting one-on-one with an editor! Writing has been stop and go but these past few days have seen some good ideas flowing and I'm feeling better about it.

Tomorrow I accompany hubby for his first x-rays and follow-up since his accident so we'll see how that goes from there, but at the moment he's pain-free and managing being homebound and unable to work (he's literally been told by his company not to come in till they straighten out some disability coverage issues). I am getting out fairly close to the way I was before and not overstressed (apart from my writing deadline, which has nothing to do with him, heh). My own PT is going well and I'm getting better and better range of motion. Weather changes are making the muscles achy but it's completely a good sign, supposedly...

Spring has retreated and we're having some March-like overcast weather, even bleak, and I get to wear my boots and jackets. This year's spring and summer season for me may be a write-off; I just don't feel that strongly about spending serious time and effort on shopping (who knows, it could change, I suppose). It will make me look forward to fall that much more--usually a rough adjustment in New England.

It sounds like everyone is doing fabulously and I am and will be checking in...seems like we are getting a whole new slew of members too...welcome to this fun site!

Oof, back to some line-by-line editing....

:-)

ETA: Oh, and unless the doctor tomorrow thinks I can't leave my husband for any length of time, I will be down in NYC at the end of May for over a week, petsitting our friends' cute black lab named Dakota. If you're interested in a meetup, shopping, lunch, drinks, anything fun like that, it would be delightful.

Nancy
