Sending best wishes for speedy healing with extra oomph toward the nerve issue clearing right up. </p> <p>Whew - hang in there - this sounds like a very tough time. </p> <p>I know it's hard, but don't forget to give yourself some extra TLC. Some care and attention for *you* will go a long way in terms of helping you get through this stressful time and shore up even more strength to help you 'be there' for your DH's recovery. The short-term dialysis supported his kidneys long enough to get them working on their own, and now his kidney function is back to normal! *Whew* </p> <p>He did suffer some significant (hopefully short-term) nerve damage to his legs due to the fluid pressure, so it might be some time before he is standing and walking on his own......but the doctors are confident his legs will revive in time. </p> <p>This has been quite an ordeal...but we have survived and are now, thankfully, out of the woods. You sure don't know how strong you can be until you are tested.....I'm feeling very strong!
