I am striving for open space in my closet. I had two full closets of clothes and am now down to one. And even odder is how freeing it feels to pair down to clothes I am nearly certain I will wear and enjoy now, and next winter. I am totally focused only on winter now and am uploading pictures of the winter closet I purged orphans from last night. </p> <p>1. first pic is the daily closet of the things I wear during the work week on bottom (nerdily sorted into outfits) and the top is the jackets not 'paired' in an outfit on left, and my weekend/casual only capsule. </p> <p>look at all that space! </p> <p>2. the dress side of the closet...winter dress outfits on bottom right, with 'stored' summer dress outfits on bottom left. The long side is my party and fancy clothes....</p> <p>again, look at all that space!</p> <p>I only have basic tanks, and T's and thin turtles in drawers. And summer/fall are packed away for that season.</p> <p>I feel I am really getting somewhere! </p> <p>I didn't really understand why many of you were purging but the feeling of owning ONLY things you know you will wear, makes me feel a little bit in control, and like I can imagine a day when I know what I am doing when shopping. Did you others feel this? </p>
