I so hope that things are going to get better for you - that you find a new job that you like and that you get your interest and energy back!</p> <p>Alot of us on YLF have had a tough year. I mentioned to you in a PM that I lost my 18 year old cat Zoe - and I'm still recovering from that (she was my baby.) I currently have 7 cats at my house (someone needs to knock some sense into me!) Two are hospice cats, one is a semi-feral that we adopted (because lets face it, no one else was going to adopt him!) and 4 are foster kittens - who leave sometime this week. I still throw myself into my volunteer work at the animal shelter because I truly believe that it is the only thing that is "saving" me from falling into a deep black hole of depression from not being able to find a job! I got a part-part-part-time job (like maybe 4 hours a week) at a used bookstore that I LOVE. I feel like I'm in heaven - love all of the locals that come in, love spending time with all of those books - AND they have a resident bookstore cat, Harry - an American Coon. He's perfect. My husband and I also had to move out of our condo that we were renting because our landlord foreclosed on it - it was sudden and we ended up moving to a place that we hate - with the landlord from hell. Too long of a story to go into - but let me just tell you, that we have barely unpacked and are counting the days until we can move out (we signed a 1 year lease.) I too, have had very little interest in fashion - and have been pretty sporadic about participating in YLF forum - but I still lurk and skim the posts! I have absolutely NO MONEY for clothes - we're at the point where we have to decide each month if we're going to pay our phone bill or buy groceries - its that bad! Sometimes my husband and I look at each other and just shake our heads - its wasn't supposed to be like this when we got to be this age!</p> <p>I think your hair is absolutely gorgeous - YOU are absolutely gorgeous! And, the peacock outfit is beautiful! I can't open the link on the sweater dress, so don't know what that looks like, but I'm glad that you finally found one!</p> <p>One of the highlights of the last few months for me was when fellow YLFers gathered in Orange County for a weekend get-together: Aida, ClearlyClaire, AJ, Rae, MaryK, Una, Vicki, Chewyspaghetti and me. Even though I couldn't shop, it was great to hang around with those that were - as well as visit, get to know each other better - and eat!</p> <p>Oh - one last thing. I may have gotten a 15 to 20 hour/week job today as an assistant to the owner of a local Wine and Cheese place. I'm not celebrating yet - because I've had jobs offered to me this past year and then the day before I'm supposed to start they've called me and told me that they've changed their mind and can't afford to hire anyone. That's not as bad as my husband though - he got a job offered to him in AZ (which he accepted at a good salary and benefits) and when he showed up for his first day of work there was no one there.
