Never heard of Kandinsky because I'm not up on art, sadly, but I just looked at some of his art and love it. </p> <p>The word "sorrow" is actually hard to see IRL. Also, the painting can be rotated and looks different from every angle. We all saw different things in it. </p> <p>I got to chat with the artist and he said it took him over 2 months to paint this, during last winter when it was really bleak outside. Their little town is full of art and I immediately loved this painting I spied in an art gallery. Turns out it was painted by my friend's son's best friend who is in college studying art. It was priced low since he's a new artist so I bought it. It has the word "sorrow" in it, which my husband didn't like. There was just something about the composition that I found very compelling. </p> <p>What do you think? </p>
