Bruce Cameron ...it's been a bestseller in the NY Times for months and also 'Mondo Canine' a collection of short stories, both sad and funny by Jon Winokur. LOVE both! One was Snot Stew, which followed the lives of two domestic barn kittens. I can't remember the name of the other, but the narrator was a female feral/stray/bob-cat. Daughter just finished that one. </p> <p>I liked a book called Park Avenue Vet. I have no idea where I discovered it.
