(My visits were closer to the university.) Just wanted to say that you'll be surprised with the quality of even the cheapest hotels there. Zurich is one of the few places where I don't mind staying in hostels because everything is really clean and well taken care of. I haven't been to Zurich before, but my bf goes on business now and then- I'll ask him for advice when he gets home. I know he favours a certain hotel and has a couple of cafes/restaurants that he enjoyed. </p> <p>Actually, I may be able to help more closer to the time- we have friends there who've invited us to stay for a weekend this summer. DH and I are travelling to Europe in September and at the end of our trip we will be in Zurich. Arriving mid morning and then departing night time the next day so looking to get the most out of it as possible. Just wondering if anyone can recommend any nice places to stay (that arent reasonably expensive) as well as some things to see and/or do? </p>
