Interesting article. Maybe I am going off topic but I find the fruit/vegetables/meat selection at food stores is NOT the same. I have 7 stores (Stop n Shop, Pathmark, Shoprite, A&P, Kings, Wegmans, Trader Joe's) within a 15 minute driving radius yet only 2 have decent selection for the items I eat and purchase most. I rarely shop in the middle of the store so stores with a wide selection of prep packaged items do not help me when I shop. I wish stores had better choices because my best store, is the furthest away (of course)

Thanks for sharing this, Khris. I heard that in my city there is a rebate for redeeming food stamps at farmer's markets. Seems like such a good thing.
