I know it's a little cheesy, but like you mentioned, it's an alternative to repainting.</p> <p>Thanks for your supportive comments and for letting me show off a little. Since this is truly the first time I've been on my own - sans family or roommates - it's been a blast having full say over how I decide to decorate it. </p> <p>Maya, I'm pretty thrilled with the space. The bedroom and bathroom are small, but the living room and dining room far make up for it.<br /> (P.S. I do have a decently comfortable hide-a-bed couch if you ever happen to make it to our area for a YLF event and need a place to stay. Just saying.)</p> <p>Marianne, I'm lucky that it is *very* close to work. I've had a lot of fun in spite of being a bit derailed by the flooding issues.</p> <p>My favorite part of my new home is that I've been able to prominently feature several of my late grandmother's prints. I didn't even realize how well her artwork coordinated with my chosen colors until I started putting frames up on the wall. </p>
