Some countries are obviously big budget with the all out matchy matchy and some are like "ok, wear your mid wash jeans and a blue blazer and we provide a hat". I like that the Pacific islands and African countries wear their more authentic dress. </p> <p>On a side note, I need to go and study my geography as there were participating nations that I was not familiar with (Nauru?) and had to google. </p> <p>The overall ceremony was hit and miss for me - at times confusing and at times, stellar.
