We have gone as a family to see some of the previous movies on Thanksgiving night. Our new tradition - leave the dishes in the sink and head to the theater to see Harry Potter! I'm sure my son will want to see it this weekend with his friends, but we will all probably go together over Thanksgiving. Three times so far. But I didn't like the first two movies. I've heard they get much better starting with the third, but I'm afraid to try again because I want to preserve the pictures in my head. A friend suggested the first book: I took her copy to be polite, sighed internally and promptly lost the book when we moved. A few months later it reappeared and having nothing else to read, I picked it up.</p> <p>It was OK. Enough that I read the second. And then the third, and became hooked. Marvelously imaginative and fun:)</p> <p>So, we're excitedly going with a group of friends (ranging in age from 9 to 75) to see it Friday night.</p> <p>Anybody else? </p>
