You're a knockout with short hair!

I'm thinking your hair might do #2 more easily, but I think you'd be really cute with #1.

I'm in love with that first style. It is similar to what you have now, but with a little more texture and layers. I'm thinking about styles for me right one, and I might take that one to my hair dresser. What a fun and valuable web site. Thanks for sharing it!

"Great bone structure" is never something I put in the same sentence as "me," so thank you! As I was reading the responses, I realized that one of the reasons I don't like my longer hair now has little to do with style - I just have so much hair that it takes a long time to dry and straighten, let alone style. When it's shorter, it feels a lot lighter and more manageable. I have an appointment on Thursday, and I'm going to talk to my stylist about what she thinks. I will probably wait for anything too drastic until this term is over because if I don't end up liking it, the last thing I want is to stand in front of multiple groups of 18 year olds with a haircut that makes me want to cry. At least if I'm on break, I can hide for awhile and pray for fast growth. Thank you!

I think you have gorgeous bone structure and can get away with just about anything. Your current hairstyle is lovely, but I actually prefer the slightly longer length of #2. I have no idea why though!

I think you current do is really fab:) I have had a bob for many years and when I get bored we vary the cut without loosing the bob (hope that makes sense) . There are lots of variations on the bob. Maybe chat with your stylist and see what he/she suggests. Layering, shaping, texturising, choppy cut. I think the bob really suits you.

I think #1 is your current haircut, styled differently with a lot of product. I really like your current do, so maybe try styling it differently for a while? Get a curling iron? or a straightener?

You look wonderful with your hair at both lengths (your own pics). As for the other proposed cuts (in the links) I think the second would be more interesting, but it would also be more difficult to grow out if you didn't like it. And if might feel edgier than you want. Not necessarily...I think it could be done in a more or less exaggerated way, and might work out perfectly. It's just worth thinking over.

With the bob, what feels boring? Do you feel a lack of styling options? It might be a good idea to explore this with your stylist.

Anna is right; you have terrific bones. Also beautiful eyes and smile, as Kari mentioned, so basically, you'd look good in anything! It's a question of where you want your style to go.

And by the way, thanks for the shout out! So honoured to have inspired!

I'll be no help and say you look adorable at either length ;-)

I might prefer #1 a bit (if it's not a lot more effort like annagybe said), but #2 would let you do more of the angling nicoleb mentioned -- and that IS a great way to update a bob. . .

I think both are cute, but I like the softer look of #2 because the length of the hair around your chin, and the way it is softly layered to follow the curve of your jaw, puts the emphasis on your large, beautiful eyes. The length of the cut - and blunter shape - in #1 emphasizes your pretty smile more but I'm personally always a sucker for eye emphasis.

I think your current hair suits you well, the longer style. I also think the first link looks basically like a layered bob with some extra styling and product. I think the second link would suit you well. I know what you mean about getting tired of the bob. My husband loves my hair cut like that. I recently cut off 6 inches to go back to a bob and I'm already getting sick of it!

With your face shape i really like #2 better. I don't think it looks boring B-U-T if you feel that way you can maybe ask for an asymmetrical style where it's a little longer in the front and shorter in the back...it's what my hairstylist gave me and i love it. Kinda subtle but still different.

I'm completely useless when it comes to hair advice but you have amazing bone structure. I think the first haircut (blonde one) would require careful styling and lots of product. #2 would be easier it cut right, provided you don't have any difficult cowlicks.

Inspired by Suz, I've started to rethink my hairstyle. I think the last time that I posted a WIW, I had a bob. Over the summer, I started growing it out, but it seems like it's taking FOREVER, and I think that pregnancy may have permanently altered my hair texture because it's just not the same as it used to be and the longer it gets the more difficult it is to manage. My goal was to grow it past my shoulders, but in light of Suz's beautiful shorter cut, I'm not sure this is the right choice.

My style is pretty feminine, and I'm worried that longer hair makes me look too "soft." I'm not edgy, but I don't want to look completely boring either, and I would like a little bit of contrast. I'm reluctant to go back to the bob, if only because I got pretty bored of it which is why I decided to grow it out in the first place. Any suggestions?

For reference, I've added 2 pics - my hair as it is now and a shorter bob. If you think it looks better longer, please say so. I would hate to cut it off for nothing once I've waited so long to grow it out.

Here are a couple of styles that I'm considering:
http://www.thehairstyler.com/h.....hair_types
