Ten annoyances, fashion-related and otherwise:

1. Clothes with disgusting writings. I'm offended on my own behalf and feel terrible for parents who have to explain t-shirts like this to their 6 year-olds: http://www.foulmouthshirts.com.....-shirt.htm

2. People who speak really, really loudly in public places.

3. Sales people who don't give honest opinions. If I ask, "do you think this bra is too loose under the arms?" please don't reassure me with untrue platitudes just so you can get your $3 commission.

4. Parents who let their children behave terribly in public. I get it - some 2 year-olds throw tantrums in the produce aisle and there's nothing that can be done about it. I have no problem with that. But when an 8 year-old kicks the back of my airplane seat for 10 minutes non-stop and the parent doesn't say a word...?

5. Salespeople who chat with each other instead of serving the customer.

6. Asking a woman if she's pregnant unless a baby's head is emerging from between her legs. Seriously, almost every woman I know -- including me: multiple times -- has been asked when the baby is due... when she's not pregnant. No No No.

7. Lousy returns policies.

8. Littering.

9. Little girls dressed like slutty teens.

10. Drivers who don't pull over when an ambulance or fire truck has their sirens on.

I hate when people state the obvioius ("oh you cut your hair," no 10 inches magically fell off during the night--how about "your new haricut looks nice" instead?)

I also hate cold calling/sales calls. And they are always when you are eating dinner.

And I agree with Chewyspagetti's #4. Especially when their gabbing leaves me the PAYING customer waiting.

I'm also against tip cups. As a wait staff in a restaurant I'm all about giving a tip. But they are EVERY where now. The local coffee shop, deli, anywhere with a counter, you see a tip cup. Sorry I am not going to tip every single person that I purchase from in a day.

Last would be, two for making purchases in most stores. I'm tired of the 20 questions routine. "what's your zip code?" "what's your email?" "what's your phone number?" Stop asking for all my private info already. And I'm weary of all the store discount cards. I walk around with 3 supermarket cards already, but stopped at one I did not have the card for and did not get the discount price. I'm sorry but most of my wallet is already store cards, not even credit cards.

Ha ha- you asked for it!

Ok here's my list of 10 most annoying things (not fashion related at all)-

1) 105 degree heat with 100% humidity (that was our weather yesterday)

2) people who dismiss desert heat because "it's a dry heat"

3) people who let their dogs bark all night long

4) clerks or checkers who carry on a conversation with their co-worker while processing my order

5) cell phone addicts who can't have a conversation or meal without playing on their phone

6) leggings as pants

7) tunics as dresses

8) fees to use your bank card

9) wrong numbers on the phone

10) door to door salesmen

I'm a calm person, but there are some things... actually, they're "style advices". Sorry about my rant. I've just seen Katy Perry's "California Girls" music video and I feel depressed. I'm ashamed that we both belong to the same species.

1. Get tanned - I hate this so much. I can appreciate tanned skin, but I don't like it on myself.

2. Wear pastels - I don't like pastels and I look washed out in them. Some people keep recommending me pastels - I don't really know, why.

3. Dye your hair - why, pray tell? I'm happy about my natural colour and I don't have a single grey hair.

4. Buy it, it's trendy - ok, there are some trends that I like, but that's not the reason. I can be perfectly happy wearing clothes that are "so 2009".

5. Men prefer ... - you can put whatever you want here. Men prefer skirts, men prefer heels, men prefer blondes. Ah, probably the most annoying thing on the list.

6. How can you wear low necklines with your bust? - those people are actually oblivious to the fact that high necklines make my chest look enormous. And the same neckline can look modest on someone not so well-endowed. They're probably the same people who think that D cup is big.

7. Wear gold - no, no, no. I don't really like gold. Besides, my natural colouring is too cool to handle gold. I look way better in silver and platinum.

8. Your blue eyes are beautiful - it's not an advice, but I'm kind of tired. Light eyes are not necessarily blue (mine being definitely not blue).

9. What is your zodiac sign? - ah! I don't like that kind of question. It's not much fashion-related, but makes people draw conclusions (which are usually not true).

10. How can you be a geek and like clothes? - I don't know why, but many people assume that fashion and science are mutually exclusive. Either you're a brainless fashion victim or a frumpy nerd.

I'd love to read your lists. It would be nice to know about what should I NOT ask
