I was holidaying in Ottawa last summer with my husband and kids and friends of ours and their son, and one night we were in the Market and decided to have supper on a patio. There was a girl behind us who was almost a dead ringer for my twin sister (we are not identical). It was actually disconcerting because every time I looked up I kept thinking it was her. We assumed it's because DD's and I all have blonde hair, and we had been getting a lot of that -- young kids coming up asking if they could touch our hair. Except then it turned out they didn't want DD's in the photo -- they just wanted a photo with me only. </p> <p>After the photo, I notice my girlfriend (Japanese, she acted as host, translator, tour guide) was doubled over with laughter. When she finally caught her breath, she said, "They thought you were Renee Zellweger, who's in Japan this week. My mum wasn't as thin and never had a piercing, but the rest looks just like her, right down to her smile. She had the same long, sleek brown hair and these are exactly her facial features. She even had the same specs then. She still has them around somewhere, I tried them on a few months back, just for fun. And the clothes are something she could have worn too. </p> <p>Did you ever see someone like that?
