I think he feels really sorry for me now ... ! Yes the sales have been for summer clothes - because of the unseasonable weather here, stores have a lot to offload - if I were savvy (and liked the summer, and summer clothes) I would be stocking up for next year (or for if we get hot weather in September/October, like we did last year) but I'm just not in the mood! I think I'm very tired too, and it all seems too much!</p> <p>Inge, Julie and Aida - you may have something there with the weather - it's cool and rainy here in the UK, and that, coupled with the fact that summer is not my favourite fashion season, has probably lead to this - I did buy a few 'spring' things and that's what I've been wearing, I don't *need* to buy any hot summer clothes. I do have a few wardrobe holes (including the elusive casual summer dress!!) but when I looked the sales frustrated me (merchandise mixed up, only limited sizes available etc). I will be in town next Friday, and will take another look. I should probably set some time aside to look online, too. I will look at Angie's capsule posts - I am a bit behind with my blog reading.</p> <p>I'm really looking forward to autumn, I have fun things organised, no more (serious, academic) studying, and I do prefer the clothes. I made a list at the end of winter of wardrobe holes for autumn/winter so I will make a start there, too.</p> <p>On the plus side, I've found my elbow is a lot better if I use my laptop on my lap, instead of putting it on the kitchen table, because when I did that I was resting my elbow/arm on the edge of the table. I've finally managed to work out a sort of 'timetable' in my head, and now decree that Friday is my YLF day (I check emails every day, and write my blog on Tuesday/Wednesday) - hopefully that will stop me spending hours online, catching up on emails, forums and blogs and wrecking my elbow!</p> <p>Secondly, I seem to have lost my fashion mojo - the sales are on in the UK, and I really don't feel inspired to even look. Emails from my favourite stores are just getting deleted. I hope it comes back in time for autumn/winter - I need some new things, as I have just volunteered to help in a local primary school, and signed up for a light-hearted weekly course, so people will be seeing me! </p>
