I did leg weights and a session on the treadmill with a hill workout and internals on Tues
Yesterday I did a pump class, and this morning I overslept and missed the meeting with my running group so just did a 30min jog by myself.

I am taking 2 days of exercise to rest for a HM I am doing on Sat, which I am woefully underprepared for.

Am trying to tackle my food intake which I always find much harder than getting in exercise. Am down about a pound but it is slow moving. One new thing I am trying is keeping a tally of how much tea I drink, and trying to have some of it without milk. Since I previously drank a minimum of 8 cups of milky tea a day I hope this will help!

I have been pretty good! I have either been taking 2+ hour walks at the flea market, swimming, or jogging every day - sometimes more than one of these things in a single day, which is awesome.

Food is so-so. I have not been counting my calories but have been switching out red meat for fish, crab, and shrimp. I have been eating late, though. I also have eaten ramen, though I got the baked noodle type this time around, which is about 1/2 the calories as regular.

I do feel much better in my bikini than when I started, so I think it's good overall.

I was away all last week at my conference and then a quick relaxing weekend away and didn't work out much, plus was eating unlimited college dining hall food (and beer/wine during the multiple poster sessions and evening socials) during the conference, so I really need to get back into working out/eating healthy this week! I don't weigh myself, so I don't really know if I gained anything (plus apparently I wore sack dresses and slouchy pants all last week, so I can't even tell if my clothes were tight), but I definitely *feel* lazy.

I'm glad to be home now!

This doesn't sound like much but it's tremendous for me. After being put to bed and leading a very sedentary lifestyle for about twenty years I started physio for my back and hip. Trying to do small things without flaring up others. It was a rough weekend and today at physio we changed things for the better...yippee, I'm thrilled.
Summer is always a very healthy time eating wise for me...only too much of it. All the fresh fruits, vegies and herbs at the farmers market just call to me. I always make a list of things bought when I get home from the market and do a basic mental menu plan. I also recipe shop at the market. I find that when I organize clothes or food for days of the week I don't do so well but when they are planned but not meticulously organized it works really well.

Everyone sounds like they're doing amazing

I ran 8ish km yesterday (Sun) but was really tired and had a strong feeling, which I followed, that I should have a rest day from exercise and the early start involved today. I had a great sleep last night and am ready to run again tomorrow.

Hanging my head in shame yet again. Took one long walk and organized my exercise zone but nothing really significant to report. I ate well enough, but do not expect to see a reward on the scale tomorrow (my weigh in day). I am inspired by you all, just the queen of procrastination so it will take repeated envy to make me get back in the groove. I did sleep a bit more (I think - I went to bed earlier - but still woke throughout the night)

I never said I'd give up wine so I don't feel guilty I have not.

I'm just holding pretty steady. I've cut out one yoga class this week to be kind to a fussy hip, but will see today after class if it helped at all.

I've been drastically reducing carbs these past weeks and feel a lot better (plus took off a few pounds - probably extra water but that's good too!), but indulged Friday night and felt sick most of Saturday. I guess my body is telling me something. . . and I should listen.

Alicat - meal planning! Great idea! I've done that for so many decades, I'm probably in a state of rebellion against it, but it's the BEST in so many ways: time, money, health, avoiding waste, etc.!!

In terms of exercise, I'm doing my usual walking but I have not started anything else, bad. The good news is that I have been good with diet. I have lost some weight where I need it the most, so I'm very happy.

I'm very proud of all of you. Wow, you guys are determined!

Alicat, that's a great idea - to plan the meals in advance. It's actually one of the foundations of the Lean Eating program.

I'm signing in her for a check up. Great to see how everyone is doing!

In general I get enough exercise and I eat pretty well, but this summer things have definitely been looser and it has showed in a couple of gained pounds. So I need to tighten up again!

My downfalls are wine, and not getting in enough actual weights workouts. I'll work out, but if I'm pressed for time I will make it a short run or something. I tell myself that this is okay because I also do two cross fit classes a week and we always do some resistance work in those classes. But honestly, it's not the same and in my heart of hearts I know it.

SO: My goal this week are to get at least one proper weights workout in. (Over time I will increase to two, once I am comfortable that doing one per week has become easy for me).

Spend time on Sunday planning healthy dinners for the whole week and getting my grocery lists together.

Only two workouts this week (1 morning run and 1 morning swim), but I held steady on food since hubs was away. I have a much easier time staying on track with my eating when I'm alone. I need to step up the workouts this week.

I keep planning to improve my diet and then go to DQ for ice cream. I need to get back on track. I am one of those all or nothing people and it takes willpower to break the bad habits for a week or two to get on track.

I have done a bit better on exercise. I golfed on Sunday, ran Tuesday, hot yoga on Wednesday and ran yesterday. We area golfing this morning too.Not great but not too bad either. If I do the walk/run, I don't find it as taxing and can keep my HR up over 130 for close to an hour

This summer has been rough for allergy sufferers. It has been damp and there is some kind of mold spore in the air. I have taken more allergy meds and steroid puffer than most entire years just in the last two months.

This was my first week back from vacation. Still getting caught up on daily life stuff. I did Zumba on Tues, Th, and Sat. I also played water volleyball Th night at. Now I need to get back to the weights. Eating was fine, but the wine was flowing a little too freely all week!

Next week's goals:

1. Get in a good balance of cardio, weights, and stretching.

2. Cut back on wine with dinner.

3. Meditate 15 minutes / 5 days.

Good luck, all!

Down to only two workouts this week (eep!)

3 mile runs on Wednesday and Saturday. At least they are feeling easier than two weeks ago and I'm running faster. Also did 10 minutes of weights on Wednesday after the run.

Still keeping at the workouts. I did two tap classes, two trainer sessions, and three boot camp classes this week.

Food? Not so good. Hubby has been working ridiculous hours and I've been snacking too much while here at home alone. Weight holding steady, though, mercifully. I would like to drop a few pounds but apparently not bad enough to actually cut back on my eating! LOL

I can't say that I have been attempting any form of diet or even control but I have seemed to dropped some size especially in the thighs and a bit in waist. My jeans are too loose and some formerly snug pairs are fitting again.
I try to eat healthy snacks and bring yogurt, low fat/fiber rich granola bars for mornings and eat some fruit during the day. I need to drink more water!
Walking a ton at work and not eating late at night. I am sure if I held off on wine it would help - with you on that Mo!

But also had late night 2 for 1 fajitas on Wed. and potato skins out tonight. Guess it's a wash . . . but the BF and I both want to get back into our nightly plank/push ups and I will try and be good with the wine over the next 2 days he has off.

So how is everyone with their exercise and healthy eating habits?

I got 4 workouts In this week until Thursday when I got a bad head cold including a nasty cough. I've been a bit out of it and haven'r really worked out since.

I'm up .8 lbs. this week but think it has to the with that TOM being near and also going out the night before.

My new week starts on Saturdays. I usually weigh in and try to eat healthy the rest of the day except at one point I got really bored and started snacking. NOT GOOD. If I feel up to it tomorrow, I will go out for a run since it's supposed to be cool in the morning.

Good luck to you all!
