Thanks for allowing me to vent and all the support and kind words. I've felt badly that I've been holding onto all these things when I know there are other people that probably would have loved them and used them, especially after I promised. I appreciate the understanding.

I think this is just axis of evil week for me--- computers, poor customer service, insurance companies and doctors!

It is good to have YLF here to de-stress a bit.

I hear everyone saying that it is hard for others to understand. A lot of people IRL that are here with me have been dealing with their own stresses and I've been trying to be really supportive of them. Luckily most of the people I care about only have to deal with lots of stress temporarily and it will get back to normal for them and they will be less tired and grumpy, hopefully soon if not already. I'm worn out, but I'm trying to not let it get to me.

In the meantime I have some extra passes with the vacumn to make! The poor little dog has a tendency to walk along "tracking" people with his nose to the floor and he keeps ending up snorting and spitting because he is sucking up all the hair that I can't stop finding everywhere.

I'm so sorry you are going through such a rough time with your health and with your life. lt sounds like it has been one thing after another and no wonder you are stressed. When things go wrong it's hard for other people to really understand how you feel, and that's frustrating too. I hope you can have a peek now and then on YLF just to relax and maybe daydream a bit about some fun times ahead. Take care!!!

Vibes for all of this stuff to pass soon and you will have more unstressed moments to balance things out. You should be reassured that YLF is one of those places you come for destress time, to remember that you are truly important and taking care of yourself matters.

Hang in there Elly!

Oh you poor dear! I'm sure everyone here agrees that you should wait until you feel better to post pictures and pass on gifted items. It sounds as though you hold yourself to a very high standard, which can be a good thing, but it can also add unnecessary stress to your already overloaded self! Please allow yourself to rest and just *be*. It totally stinks about your illness/healthcare, computer issues (ack!) and hair loss, all while you are trying to job hunt and maintain a relationship. No pressure here, and I hope you can chill out and relax on the forum when you can use the shared computer.

I am sorry to hear about all the stressful things that are happening in your life. I have a chronic illness so I can certainly understand how difficult it can be. I try my best to have "normal" life but sometimes its very hard. I work full time, take care of things at home and even though my DH helps with stuff, I still feel exausted and sick lot of times. Couple of years ago, I was facing simular situation as you where I suddenly got laid off, my illness became much worse and I was so incrediably stressed all the time, it was very hard. Things will get better, sweetie, best thing to try your best to keep positive, sending prayers your way:)

Aww. Really big hugs for you! *HUG* - you have so much going on in your life, Elly, no wonder it feels overwhelming! I have no "real advice" for you, as my PC computer skills are moot - would it be possible to ask someone higher up to look at the computer problem for you to see if it is under warranty? I have had to do this with my Mac to great success (totally new computer shipped out).

Take care!

There are several things that I've promised to give away/pass on on the forum, and Sona's lovely kurti that I promised to photograph that I haven't.

I just need to apologize. My PC has now been out of commission for almost 8 weeks. I started having a hardware issue and got it repaired under warranty only to have it come back slightly damaged and in an unusable state. Unfortunately they made me send it back off for another 3 weeks and I just got a phone call saying that they can't fix the problem but consider it functional enough that they aren't willing to replace it. I'm furious because it was a 6 month old computer which I also bought an additional warranty for, and is quite an expensive PC because I needed something to do photo editing with. I've been on the forum on a shared PC, but have limited access most days of the week and it doesn't have photo capabilities with no way to connect my camera and my cell takes horrible pictures and I have to go through a 5 step process to get those on the forum. I'm really frustrated since I'm job hunting and not having computer is frustrating. So, I apologize to anyone that has helped me out-- I'm trying to follow through but it is taking me a while!

I also found out this week that the only doctor that treats the condition I have within several hundred miles is no longer on my insurance. I have the option of switching insurance in July, but would have to pay 400 dollars more each month.

I've been seeing a man for 3 months and that is currently causing me some stress. He is a nice man and I really enjoy spending time with him, but despite talking about it I don't think he realizes how much his actions impact me, especially when he is being what I believe is inadvertently disrespectful.

All this extra stress (on top of living with family again, having chronic illness, and job hunting-- because that isn't enough) is really impacting my health. I'm not feeling up to keeping up with housework and job hunting, so I can't imagine actually working with how my health is right now.

Right now my hair has been coming out at a really rapid rate for over a week. It is related to my heart issue, but only happens when I'm very ill or very stressed (basically it is an indication that my head/scalp and also therefore my brain isn't getting sufficient oxygen). I had a major problem with this just over a year ago when I went into heart failure, and my hair was just getting back to a somewhat normal thickness, even though it was still thin. I've gone from close to 3/4 of my normal hair to maybe between 1/2-2/3 in a week. I desperately needed a haircut but now I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it.

I'm sad about my hair and really frustrating because the new guy and my family don't seem to understand how much stress affects me illness and energy wise and the job hunt and medical stuff seems daunting right now. So I'm hanging out on YLF for a while today.

And I apologize again for everything that a forum member has graciously sent me that I promised to pass on or photograph myself wearing that I haven't gotten around to.
