I also really liked Gabrielle Union in Carolina Herrera. Emma Stone was a big disappointment with her tired LV peplum dress. Plus, her hair and makeup were too minimal for the Oscars. TBH, the men totally crushed it with their style, especially Robert Downey, Jr. and Colman Domingo. I thought the men and they stole the show :)  LOTS of brooches and bling, all round! All genders. Lots of low necklines, leg slits, black 7 white, and hair in top knots too. And sleek bobs!  My absolute faves for the night were Simu Liu and his date, Allison Hsu. #1 and #2. SOOOO elegant. Sharp!  Second was Julianne Hough. Jumpsuit with pockets! Just, so, fun! #3 Third was Justine Triet. It was a BEJEWELED le Smoking, which does not come through in the pics. It SPARKLED all night. #4. Loved it!  And the rest of my faves in the pics below. The black, navy, red, light blue and white dazzled. He thanked his stylist during his speech, which was funny because people don't do that, but also that he's acknowledging this killer outfit was not his idea. The after party looks were quite nice. My standouts for the show included Zendaya, Florence Pugh, America Ferrera, Carey Mulligan, and Ryan Gosling. There were a lot of pared-down makeup looks, which I enjoyed. Emma Stone looked especially beautiful. I thought the photography this year was better than previous years.  The fashion wasn’t as wild or experimental, but was not ‘meh’ either.  Prettier?  Hair and make-up too.  The men looked fabulous! </div>
