I think the oranges that work for you may be similar to the ones that work for me, which are a deep coral, a shade of orange that is wandering into the pink family. I also wear shades of blush that are actually more peach than pink, and I think they look pretty good on me. They don't make me look ill, anyway! Seeing what others say here about their coloring and what oranges work or don't work for them makes me wonder where I fall in color schemes. I know I am cool-toned. But some kind of summer or winter? I know I am a winter, but some typically non-winter colors look quite good on me, though they should not, in theory. Orange is a color which doesn’t work for me in general, but some bright corals and orangey reds do work very well. I suspect I might be dark winter, leaning to some slightly warmer colours than true winter, and therefore some corals, salmons and warmer reds also work quite well. So whilst there is more blue in my wardrobe than orange - the orange pieces feel more special and I am always thrilled to find another item in orange that I can wear.</p> <p>The right shades of orange tend to be clear and bright and even better if they are close to red or pink. For me it is worth the effort of finding those elusive orange pieces, as orange is a colour that I love to wear as it makes me feel bright and happy when I wear it.</p> <p>I love finding a print with orange in the mix and the two dresses on the bottom are representative of orange with a pattern working for me. The orange patent pumps are firm favourites.</p> <p>Orange and yellow are similar for me, I love wearing them, but need to be careful about getting the colour right in order to make them work for me.</p> <p>I would be interested to hear if this is a common issue with orange, especially for others.. </p>
