But it won't fit loose or oversized. I am usually an XS in tops if it comes in lettered sizing. First, Sandwich has an actual and quite beautiful store on Laurier in Montreal, so if you are out that way you can visit. I will say that if I first encountered them on the website, which literally ought to win the award for the worst website ever, I would never have bought anything from them. But I had seen and tried on their clothes in boutiques in Kingston and Toronto and then Montreal and I knew the fits and quality.  A few general remarks. Sizing is EU. But generous EU sizing -- I don't know if this is true across the board but in my experience German and Dutch garments are cut more generously than French or Italian.  I sized down in the blazer to a 34 for that reason, and also because it has the knit along the back, so it expands as you. move. <a rel="nofollow" href="https://sandwichfashion.ca/collections/jackets-coats/products/25001566-40064_2004a-1?variant=32406166405167">It also comes in a beautiful bright light blue on the website</a> but since it is a past season item, I don't know what they have for sizes.  Keep in mind that while my shoulders are square they are not broad and my bust is relatively small. To give you an idea, although Angie is 2 inches taller than me, I wear a size larger. So I have a small but not tiny frame.  This jacket is emphatically not an oversized or long blazer. In fact, when Angie did a post on long blazers last year, I think I countered with my "not long" blazer in a WIW. ;)  It's classic in cut, one button, unlined, but with nicely finished seams inside.The fabric is extremely light, as Helena points out.  The skirt is definitely high summer wear only in my climate and yours. The jacket is a bit more flexible since it is obviously worn over something else. I wore it on a trip to Ontario in late May last spring and enjoyed it then. I wore it all summer in BC. Till about September, when i wanted different colours/ fabrications.  The back is linen knit. The inside sleeves are linen knit so they stay pushed up if that is your preference (as it is mine). Of course the fabric does wrinkle at the elbows, etc, but the  dye (which in the light olive, at least, is variegated in tone) makes wrinkles less visible/ noticeable than it might otherwise be.  <a rel="nofollow" href="https://sandwichfashion.ca/collections/jackets-coats/products/25001566-50020_2004a?variant=32378013220911">The price is more than right. I got it also for this price last year. </a> Unfortunately, as i said, the website will not help you at all with anything -- it is a leap of faith to order anything from them. They do have a sizing chart, though, and they deliver promptly. The prices on the items I bought (all past seasons so on sale) were pretty much like Old Navy/ Gap prices. I don't know what it is about them....I guess they do wear out faster because of perspiration etc. Lots of washing, and even if you air dry, as I always do, the number of washes probably has some effect.  I think the potential for casualizing it with sneakers and a graphic tee are high. I didn't like how it looked with my current sneakers for some reason -- but I need new ones this season so I might try a slightly different style.  Sharan, it *is* a different direction. I look pretty awful in pastels, including this one, truth be told (though those silvery tones sort of save it on me). But I wanted to try to branch out from my usual blues and also wanted something that would work with blue well. The jacket looks great with denim. It's a fab travelling jacket because the entire back is linen KNIT and so are the insides of the sleeves -- a really clever design.  Jenni, thanks!  Tanya, yes! I have a high tolerance for that, though, so it's ok. It's only noticeable when the light is bright and directly behind and the person is staring at the skirt (as I invited all of you to do, LOL).  Anyway, I'm not wearing it to a formal office or anything. So it's all good. I think it is designed/ intended as a suit. I just wasn't paying attention last year when I purchased the jacket. There are pants (cargo joggers in linen) that go with it, too, but I didn't care for them as much. Yes, it definitely works with white and white with silver tops -- I have a few of those already. And it works with navy, or navy & white stripes. A few of my current options.  I think it would work really well with fuchsia, too. So I will be on the lookout for that.  kkards, that's a really nice idea! I'll keep my eyes open for that. A vest would be less....something. I won't say corporate. Maybe I'll say a vest would be even more cheeky. :)  The skirt will also work with a cropped denim jacket, of course. White or blue.
