They are just not my cup of tea because they are so close to flesh tone (on Caucasians anyway) and I've done a double take a few times when I saw someone wearing tight taupe skinnies that made it look like they were nude from the waist down. I hope that's okay to mention and doesn't make you feel like I'm saying you can't keep them... Its just my bias.
