It wouldn't hurt to try and I had good luck ordering from Lands End Canvas - as well as the regular Lands End. I had to return something from Lands End (the sizing for regular LE tends to run big), and it was fairly easy for me - just dropped it off at a local Sears store. </p> <p>Just for the record, a size medium in Lands End turned out to be too big on me (striped knit top), and a size large for a "boyfriend" silk shirt from Lands End Canvas fit nicely. I usually wear a size 8-10, though more a 10 lately due to pesky weight battles. I don't know if I'd be a medium or a large in general Lands End Canvas stuff, the size large shirt I got was a boyfriend style, so I wanted it larger and a bit slouchier.
