I think it is the waist definition that makes it so you because you are so curvy. It also has a very interesting neckline. I usually wear a medium in regular clothing and most times have to bump up to large in juniors, because of bust (32DDD) and shoulder fit issues. I am still able to zip up the jcekt all the way in a medium, it is just a bit snug all over and a little restrictive around the shoulders. The large seemed to fit well. So, in short, if you wear a small, I'd go with small just so it isn't too restrictive. I liked it, liked the fit but wasn't sure how the length was going to work. A large worked better for me though I usually wear a medium but I think for you, the small will just fine. The quality is good, not exceptional.
