I have a pair of black joggers I'm looking forward to wearing from BR and hadn't thought of wearing a tennis shoe with them although I planned to wear a black slip on Van type shoe with mine...I'm anxious to see what the other more experienced jogger wearers say. When the weather warms up, black gladiators and black wedge sandals are on standby! I'm planning to wear simple t's to dress them down and dressers drape front silky type tops to dress them up. It's nice, definitely comfortable. I generally do a more dressier blouse, denim shirt (untucked or knotted at waist), or throw on a nice topper, maybe even a bit of fur or a great printed scarf, just so it's not too much of a "I just came from the gym" look. But that takes more discipline, and feels fussier some days. You may want to try a low wedge. I've done that too and it's dressier, without sacrificing comfort.
