Mine also always break. I actually make my own deodorant using coconut oil, corn starch, and baking soda. This works better than anything I've ever tried, deodorant-wise. This is ONLY for odour. I used 1 years ago and wasn't terribly impressed. You had to wet it under water then rub it under your arms i think. I seem to remember not sticking with it for very long as you still sweat with it but suppoedly it doesn't smell! i just hated the wet patches under my arms.
