I will keep both. I like the fit of the jacket and the fact that it is differently shaped from a blazer and that it adds inches visually to my chest. It also plays well with almost any color.<br /> I wanted the cardigan to be a statement piece if it looks good enough on me. As to the image I want to project...I might call it French woman of a certain age or maybe Euro chic for the over 50. I asked myself if Anna Wintour would wear that cardigan ...yes? Would a well dressed French woman? ..not sure. (Comments and suggestions on this image struggle welcomed!)<br /> Anyway I'll keep it and try to post more stying options from my closet. I'm thinking cream dress pants may work but have doubts about pants that are wider cut than straight legs working with the length of the cardi. The cardigan is definitely more of a statement piece (and is beautiful on you) while the jacket I could see being more of a wardrobe workhorse. Since they are so different, I vote keep both if you can. If you can't....well, that gets back to what do you need in your closet? Statement pieces or workhorses? The cardigan is so distinctive you might find yourself wanting to spread out how often you wear it, since it will certainly make an impact and be remembered (which is not a bad thing!!!). The jacket, while lovely, would probably blend into your wardrobe and outfits more easily. The first one is tweedy, classic, ladylike...the second one is hip. modern, eye-catching. What impression do you want to give? Where would you be wearing these? If it were me, I would go with the long cardigan, as it seems way more fun and versatile than the tweed jacket. But it does raise some interesting questions about self-image and the fashion goals you are pursuing, which you alone can answer.
