You might not remember when I posted from a consignment shop about a month ago, and I ended up buying a pair of wide leg AG jeans, Anna? You didn't really like them. They've served me well as a stand-in for pajamas when I want to be comfy at home, but that's about it. Maybe I should have saved my $30.</p> <p>Anyway....that day what I <i>really</i> wanted to buy was a pair of AMAZING Current Elliott BF jeans that had this same kind of OTT distressing with the denim patch underneath. They were fantastic. LOVED. But they were too big. </p> <p>Granted, they were a fraction of the cost of yours, but cost is a very personal thing. And so is style, I guess. So here's my take: I love them. To make the shreds (as opposed to empty holes), you have to very precisely take tweezers and remove <i>only</i> the vertical threads. I really liked DIY for a while there, and not even I had the patience for it. Then you have the sewing to deal with, and then whatever you're going to do with the edges of the patches to keep <i>those</i> from unraveling.
