Thanks Makrame. I just filled out the blank return form, as Aquamarine suggested. Annoying, but it worked.

FWIW, though, I have accidentally sent in returns with no paperwork at all, and Nordstrom has still credited them appropriately, thanks to the smart label.

There is a workaround for that. E-mail customer service, and they will give you a link to look up your order and initiate returns.

Yes, it's broken. I've got a package that was received a week ago and still shows as shipping, even though when you go to track the package it correctly shows that it was delivered.

I've emailed customer service on this. The layout for tracking purchases was just updated this summer and I think they've got some software bugs to address.

Thanks, Banoffi. These are all items from the same order that were shipped separately.

Maybe this has changed, but I'd be wary of combining items from different orders in the same return. I've done this before and twice things have gone wrong. Nordstrom customer service advised me to never mix orders in returns.

Something new this year, happened to me too. I called and the workaround is to scroll to the bottom of the homepage. Click on Returns and Exchanges under Customer Service. Under "Returning by mail (U.S.)," click on "print a blank return form and label." You'll have to find the item numbers and your order number (all searchable online) and fill out the form for your returns.

Clunky and annoying....

I've made my decisions and am ready to send in my returns, but when I went to my Nordstrom account to start my return, it won't let me because the items are still "on their way." Is there a way around that, or do I just have to wait?

Not all of my items arrived with return labels or even printed identifying information with the item # and such. Plus, I'd like to combine the returns into one or two boxes. It would be so much easier to just generate the label and item list online!
