Couldn't you start off with one or two, and then see how much use you get out of them. From a practical standpoint (I know I tend to be OVERLY practical...but I can't help it) it seems crazy to own more than 2 or 3 at the most--and that includes sleeveless and short sleeves as well. It just seems like overkill to me. Those between 8 and 9 will get an extra deciding factor: if it's something I personally really, really like ( for whatever reason that realistically may not make sense) than it can stay, otherwise it goes. For example, those Lanky jeans from older thread got average of 8.5. Now I happen to really like them - I have been stalking them for over half a year, so they still a yes for me. Of course, that particular pair went back because it's too short, but I am still trying to find another pair.
