It's great that the AT pants worked out. If they are a length that you like the look and feel of with your shoes, wear them. Angie's guidelines are just that--guidelines. I find her advice on ankle-pant lengths difficult to implement at times, with the shape of my calves and ankles. So I often go around more stumpified than is optimal.
The other two from Topshop look promising. I especially like the ones with the tie belt.

Also the first pair, if hit the right promotional price, might be economical enough to duplicate and have 2 lengths for fun , but I'd like to test-drive one pair first.
Can't just turn the existing hem under or up because it causes hang-up on lower leg, otherwise one pair would be adjustable and could have both options.

Just a quick post to say the AT "relaxed ankle pants" shown in the first find were an unexpectedly good fit and shape, very comfortable but also streamlined, so there is something about the fit that is both relaxed and not bulky, which is unusual and might work for someone else on the hunt for pants. Poly fabric is not ideal, but works for me in AC and it contributes to the drape.

They do have back elastic waist, but I plan these for untucked tops , though may experiment with a wide soft belt that would cover.

However, I have ordered the 2 next finds in a hunt for more tucking options because I just need the higher waist PLUS some kind of pleats or ease--can't tuck with most high-waisted, flat-fit types even "curvy" (or won't, is not even JFE, so is no bueno).

2 concerns regarding styling
(1) --the AT pants aren't currently "ankle length" according to Angie's PPL's but I like them this way with loafers and don't have my target HEWI ankle-strap comfortable shoes to give the look shown or some similar less stumpifying footwear. So, options are, wear as-is (and hide head sheepishly from the fashion police) and either just continue, or can always hem later if ankle craze continues and I find footwear that does what I want.
(2) Don't yet know if either of the Topshop items will work, but if they did, I am assuming that if these are on the market now, they are "updated" but, am I at risk of being too nostalgic? I truly think it's not that I am "stuck", but that the high-waist and pleat (or some similar drapey construction) is my best tucking look that feels right, and so I want to see how to keep incorporating some of it but with whatever kinds of updates that help keep it modern (such as the culottes, but pants are more mainstream and wearable for a wardrobe stable).

Thoughts and comments welcome, or anyone who's tried these items please chime in.
