On my two pieces, I like bottoms that have a higher rise to help with tummy issues and a top with decent coverage for modesty, and most importantly&nbsp;comfort all around - which means no slipping down, so skimpy tie strings and&nbsp;no halters for me. <br /><br />I also keep a tank, linen shirt or other cover up near by at the pool. At the lake side it seems more free and people don't seem to gawk. And one-piece swimsuits are especially tricky in terms of proportions.
