It has a kind of crackly faux-snakeskin pattern in a metallic suede. I like it lots better than if it were a matte black. Wore it with a curved hem knit and mesh top, red suede booties, and a red floral patterned scarf that I've had forever but haven't worn recently. I think next time I'll go low contrast with my footwear and use a long metallic necklace, but I like this ok. I wore leggings and a camisole under this for extra warmth. </p>
