I can picture these boots with a maxi dress, and I can picture this short dress with cowboy boots. It’s something about the amount of leg showing and how exactly the boots and dress proportions hit on your body. I agree with others that you will likely want sandals, thought! I personally think that the booties look a little heavy to wear with it. When I wear booties with a dress, I make sure that the booties have a bit higher shaft that fits close to the ankle and lower calf. I think it is really hard to wear low-shaft booties with a dress and have it look good.</p> <p>I would probably also pair the dress with lower-contrast footwear to do some bookending with your hair.</p> <p>I would probably add a dainty necklace with the dress, but that is just my preference. But yes, I know what Vans are, had a dress from them that turned out to be more of a tunic, and I’ve been on &amp; off about the shoes for a while now. Nemosmom wrote me a great guide to them, so now I know which ones to get, if I do get some. I’m generally not into the whole dress &amp; sneaks thing. Part of that is because of my bad experiences with fashion sneakers (which is why Vans) but I’m also not sure it’s a look for me, as much as I like to be ready to rumble. Idk why that is. </p> <p>Cat2, I currently have no sandals. Had these on a tray outside my door, as Germans sometimes do, and someone picked them off. But they wouldn’t have worked with this dress anyway.
