I like the Abby a lot. I don't think I noticed it came in silver. I bought a silver Birkenstock too. I'd like to find a comfortable navy sandal, either flat or low heeled. I don't know if you have seen the Naot Kayla which goes up to size 44. I have a couple of pairs and they feel wonderful. I'm considering a third pair, but am having problems choosing the right color. My current sandal wardrobe is trashed so I was squelling with delight to findthe shiny silver birkis and the grey taupe Ara's... Did have to take them off to sleep last night... what do you think?<br /> But onto the tougher question, my black walking to work sandals broke and I haven't been able to find a replacement. And my office Munro's are both sad. As you can see the Abby's are very worn, and the Delaneys are not really comfy and after 4(?) Years getting a bit smelly. With size 43/12 fussy feet my options are limited. Will the Abby's be still on trend for next year? I will need to import from the USA so while I need something for another few weeks, I don't want to waste my $ for next summer (and time in Nth American summer in between).<br /> What do you think?</p> <p>Oh and I am waiting to hear reports on whether the Dea block heel Angie showed the other day might work as that could be another option... </p>
