Hi Pil! I know it's awful to loose a fur baby, hugs to you from me too.

If you leave the pants full length, will you wear them during the cooler months? I might consider leaving them longer if the answer is yes. Unless of course you don't need longer pants, but you need shorter summer ones. Then the length in #2 is good.

I bet your baby girl Pug misses her buddy. Extra cuddles for Her from me too.

Aha. Well the top looks good in the pic. And cropping the pants is great for Summer.

Thanks Angie, you're such a sweetheart Girlie-pug is getting lots of attention but I think she misses our buddy.

The top just feels snug around the hips/midsection - between a few extra pounds and getting accustomed to 'fluid' fits. If it wasn't silk *and* didn't have French seams I would probably try to let the sides out or change it to a split seam.

I should probably have the pants taken up to the crop length as my summer wardrobe is low on bottoms. But leaving them as is would be easier!

PILL, SO NICE TO SEE YOU. I missed you. ((((HUGS)))). I know what it's like to loose a doggie. I hope you're getting extra love from your other baby Pug.

Love the length of the crops in #2. More Summery, and can be worn with ankle booties with higher shafts in the Fall.

That said, I like the length in #1 as well. And if you wear ankle strap shoes - you could sport an in-between length.

Top fits nicely in the photo. What is bothering you about it?

So i have found a couple more EF pieces after my cobalt and black dresses. Yes, I kept both : )
These pants are an ankle pant, but I'm 5'4" so they're longer than they should be. Should they be shortened? If so, how is the length in the second photo?
Apologies for the styling. I know this top doesn't fit so well any more. Ugh.
Thanks a bunch!
