Now keep in mind this is not a good photo in terms of perspective, but maybe it will give some clarification as to fit. When I hold my arms up (which I should have gotten a pic of) the sleeves run from about the middle of my upper arm down to my ribs. They are not a straight seamed sleeve, if that makes any sense. That is the fit area I'm concerned about. If you look at it in comparison with the chambray shirt (click 1 to 2!) it's quite pronounced. The stock photo definitely shows it as a fairly straight-forward wrap dress. The elasticized waist is also quite high (which works for me because I'm short waisted) but I think also contributes to the blousy look. Is it unflattering? I think maybe I was hasty in my "menopausal moment" last night just because it's soooooooo outside my comfort zone. I'm not a skinny minny by any means and am worried I will look like a sausage. But I think with the right top (light the orange flowy one), the tight bottom can work for me. They weren't uncomfortable - just scary!</p> <p>BTW you were right about some of the ON dressier clothing. I looked at another dress that had the lasting value of a Kleenex but this faux wrap one I bought is quite good fabric, good seams and I love the sleeve details, which don't show up in the photo. The sleeves are tight on the lower 1/3 and then blouson into a dolman sleeve.
