The thin, low-cut ones go away until spring, and then I put away the thick fuzzy boot socks for the summer. One problem was a few years back( 2009?) when my 2 girls realised how much I liked socks in winter and started buying me them for gifts. This caused over- stocking but after a few years I was able to quietly gift some back to them second-hand to stock up their sock supplies and they weren't offended. I could trim the trouser socks to just a couple in each color since I rarely wear them.&nbsp; I guess I could trim the number of white/grey socks.&nbsp;I must be a sock hoarder because that's about all I can see myself getting rid of. </p> <p>I asked DH if&nbsp;he could build me some drawer organizers and he started laughing.&nbsp; Then I said "well maybe I could move out the exercise bottoms that share the drawer" (see pic #10) and he said&nbsp;"yeah, that's your problem - the 6&nbsp;pairs of exercise bottoms".&nbsp; Which just made me start laughing as I realized how ridiculous it is that I have 85 pairs of socks.&nbsp;</p> <p>#1 - colored short socks - 16<br />#2 - fuzzy lounge socks - 4<br />#3 - trouser socks - 16<br />#4 - Christmas socks - 7<br />#5 - fitness socks - 6<br />#6 - white/grey socks - 16<br />#7&nbsp;- colored knee high socks - 20<br />#8 - Overall view<br />#9 - 6 pairs of new unopened socks<br />#10 - Sock drawer</p> <p>Anybody else have this problem?&nbsp; Please tell me this isn't uncommon! </p>
