I would wear ombré skirt casually, I don’t really have special occasions in my life.<br /> I am furious at stupidity at some government decisions. They are mandating 14 days quarantine for arrivals from UK but not from Germany. But they are banning direct flights from UK so people are coming anyway through other countries, just going through unnecessary complications. I really hope DS returns home safely. If you only have one skirt that fits at the moment, then these two new skirts is not an issue. The black polka dots is super versatile and goes with probably every top you own. I really like this ombré skirt too, but it is more of a special occasion piece. I have my rainbow skirt that fills that function, and I find it useful to own, even though it only gets worn for more special occasions. I am trying to bring my son home from UK, but Austria still bans flights from there and his flight got canceled for the third time. This time it did not allow me to rebook flight online, instead I had to call the number that was not reachable. I was panicking since he has to leave his accommodation on 10th July latest, and there were not many options left available before that. I finally managed to rebook him on a flight through Germany today. Please keep fingers crossed that he arrives home safely tonight.<br /> Back to the skirt. Unfortunately my wardrobe is on the lean side at the moment and many of the options suggested will require additional purchases. I completely forgot about toppers, will have to see about that. I did try it with citron tops but didn’t like the look. Maybe if I added citron sneakers? I am leaning towards keeping polka dotted one which is very useful and doesn’t require that much effort to create outfits which I prefer. Now I am trying to decide if I should keep both. I don’t find often skirts that I like, and currently I only own one that fits me, so having 3 skirts doesn’t seem like much. I don't think the sweater looks too heavy--I am thinking of future wear in air-conditioning or mild temps where if your top were really light or sheer, you'd need a topper, and that would be even harder. So even if you may need a lighter white top, not so much going out to buy now, but it means there will be lots of styles and price points in white tops. Similar to navy.
