It's partly for clients, although I don't work in the most conservative industries. It's really more for the actual work of focus group moderating: I don't want my hair color to be such a distraction. Yes, I want to look <u>good</u>, but no I don't want to be <u>so interesting</u>. Do you know what I mean? Still, a great point for me to consider. </p> <p><b>Joy: </b>I did go to her site and I looked at all of her hair tutorials -- she is great at showing how to style her haircut! You are right - and I think the painted on version could get a less pronounced result, too. I have had balayaged highlights put in (a few years back) and I always loved how they turned out, really natural (different stylist). It is also just hair. If you don't like it &nbsp;after trying it - colour over top it! &nbsp;DD just did this to her hair - and the stylist gently corrected her in terms of terminology. &nbsp;We were calling it ombre, but the new technique is balayage.
