I think RB is illustrating why ankle length pants are leg shortening-- she has them rolled up. Considering the bottom two pictures, I'm wondering if the ombre effect emphasizes the thighs (it kind of looks like shorts, but not) so I'm also thinking you need skinny thighs to pull them off. I hope you do prove us wrong, Maya. Skinnies just aren't flattering with a normal length top. Just 1 or 2 more inches would have helped. By making them straight legs, there would be no need to have slim calves. I would prefer it in a straight leg version rather than skinnies though. I can only wear skinnies with tunics and/or boots, which would cover up too much of the gradation. I also wish the dark shading came down a little further, breaking at the knee instead of 3/4 down the thigh. If I found the right pair, I would definitely try it. </p>
