Of course I live in a much colder climate than you do, where cable knits have been a winter basic forever so I probably see a lot more variety than you do, hence my not wanting them so much. Isn't that always the way it is Kristin, good advice. Last winter I wasn't tracking wear counts but now I am so I'll be able to see how often I actually wear it. Your question about whether it's too bodycon to wear over a shirt is really the major question I have. I'm not really sure. I wish it were a little looser and the answer would be easy. I could try it over a knit top which would be less bulky than the shirt, and maybe add a scarf if I feel the neckline needs something. I struggled with what color to pair it with, and I think the blue and white work well, but I would not put any other colors with it. Black seems too extreme although I do like it with darker and lighter olives. Blue is good - I wear a lot of it. I also thought of a white shirt but that seems a little less interesting somehow. I think that the color looks nice to you.  If you normally gravitate towards cool colors though, I can see how it would make you pause.  In that case I would make sure that there is something else like a shirt collar or scarf between the sweater and my face. Olive looks good on me, but I'm not sure that's true for this version of olive which has a fair amount of yellow in it.  I want to either start wearing it this fall or donate it back to thrift-land. It's pretty  traditional/classic/preppy so I went with that in styling it. What do you think? 1 - with white jeans rolled & white sneakers 2 - with denim shirt, medium wash jeans, black slip-on sneakers 3 - with deep blue shirt, dark wash jeans, black booties
