I had a lightbulb moment when Angie pointed out that my Most Valuable Players in my MVP's of summer post were prints! In response, I searched for prints featuring olive, instead of just focusing on solids. This week I added a cream and olive top, and ordered a shirt dress in an olive based paisley. I wore the olive topper for the second time this week for a casual night out with DH. When we got home, the package with the dress had been delivered.</p> <p>#1 olive and cream sleeveless top - Jones of New York<br /> Black wool jacket - Loft (thrifted)<br /> Olive chinos - Dockers<br /> Leopard flats - Town Shoes</p> <p>#2, 3, 4, 5 - 'grey asparagus paisley' shirt dress (have you ever read a more revolting colour description?) - Lands' End styled with self tie belt and white loafers (Nine West) and without belt and olive sneakers (Joseph Siebal) - sorry about poor pm lighting<br /> #6 close up of paisley<br /> #7 product monograph<br /> #8 and #9 olive capsule thus far - all added this year, with the exception of the black T-shirt (summer 2018)</p> <p>Not shown olive shorts (summer 2018) and an olive scarf (ancient). I'm hoping to add a sweater and or turtleneck, and possibly a winter coat with co-ordinating cold weather accessories that continue the olive colour scheme. </p> <p>Suggestions on different ways to style the shirt dress are welcomed, as are links to any interesting olive coloured items you might have come across.
