This make up is simple - foundation, a little bit of an eyebrow colour, blush, blue eyeliner pencil, black mascara and lipgloss. The blue pencil is my fave Estée Lauder, it is soft and creamy and easy to apply. I use the same brand eyeliner in black and ink blue and also dark plum.</p> <p>Jane, thank you. I wear scarves daily in different ways, so I am very used to have my neck covered. As I often wear scarves “done up”, I wear natural fabrics like silk, cotton, viscose, linen etc. - materials which breath. I like the feeling of soft fabric against my neck. I am comfortable wearing them to work all day. However, the shade of this jacket would be perfect with a denim outfit. For example: with denim and firy orange; mustard yellow; tans and browns. It's also very textured, so you can take advantage of this, and try with a simple black or white tee, or a very soft turtleneck sweater for contrast. I think it could also tone down leather, give it a little rebellious note.&nbsp;</p> <p>I like it a lot here, and I find the layered look you have created very pleasing. You brought it back towards your palette by pairing it with a light blue shirt and addining eyeliner. I think what may be bothering you about the jacket is this: the shoulders have a little puff, which is fine, but it may be this feature combined with the shortness and nipped in waist of the jacket that is making you feel slightly unbalanced. If it was a few cm longer and not so shaped at the waist I think it would be a little more relaxed looking. Currently it has so much shape to it it’s almost a teeny bit star-trek. Love jackets with that type of collar (if that neckline can be considered as having a mini collar) I think it is unusual in a fab way. I think the color, seaming and zipper detail are great also.<br /> About the sleeve/ shoulder area..... yes the little bit of puffiness dates it a little but not badly. Because there are so many other great details on the jacket that draws the eye and attention, the shoulder does not “stick out “ as it would if it was a plain coat and the shoulder was the only place to look.<br /> I had a skirt suit I loved and looked fab in with those same shoulders. In an attempt to update it ( even though I sew) I took it to someone to try and minimize puffiness. It made it too tight and restricted movement. I kept the skirt for a while but threw the jacket away. I was heartbroken.
