The colours are good, the fit is good, and it takes so many wash/wear cycles for flannel to get to that really yummy broken-in point. It's a lot like denim. I don't ret rid of my flannels 'til I blow out the elbows. I love it with the stripes and the lippie and the top-pony-bun. Most of my oldies are fairly classic, nondescript, useful pieces from retailers known for their quality. Today is no exception. This Duluth Trading Co flannel has been in my wardrobe for...ever, maybe? I honestly couldn’t tell you, but I’ve worn it 62 times since I started tracking in summer 2015. My day today involves studio work and a run to the post office, so strictly utilitarian garb. No reason I can’t have some fun with photos, though!</p> <p>Why I’ve considered letting go: Boredom, mostly. </p> <p>Why it’s still in my wardrobe: I love having a flannel. It reminds me of college in the 90s. Duluth Trading shirts are a marvel.
