Otherwise they were very snug,&nbsp;but almost wearable.<br />Then, ironically the rise in the 14 seems way&nbsp;too long.&nbsp;Hmmmm. And I am actually a pear/hourglass. If they had them in-store I would go try several pairs to see if there are variations,&nbsp;but they appear to be online only in Canada (although not explicitly!).<br />Meanwhile this pair fit just about perfectly in a 12, and are long enough I am wearing them today -&nbsp;under boots outside (-27C this morning!)&nbsp;but rolled with sneakers inside. The bigger ones fit nicely in that they hang perfectly off the hips without the tightness and muffin top of the smaller size, but there's crotch weirdness going on. Excess fabric that folds up in weird suggestive ways... IYKWIM! I think I have this life-long problem because I like my jeans loose and I&nbsp;guess my lower belly is flat-ish relative to the size of my hips and outer thighs. It was often an issue with ON and GAP pants in particular when I was younger.<br />I like them with longer tops (my new Joe Fresh silk t for example) that cover the crotch so I might hang onto them for this price and hope something better comes along eventually. The other nonwhite pair I ordered fits well and I don't think it's purely the stretch factor, the white ones seem cut very slightly smaller. Other than that, I like the thick white fabric, even though these ones are too tight they do not have instant sausage effect like some thin stretchy skinnies. Last year I delayed getting Old Navy BFs (for reasons of fasting....)&nbsp;and regretted it as a false economy&nbsp;because they were soon gone. They later became an Angie pick, but never showed up in full stock in Canada again that I could tell. Today I was randomly admiring GAP's white 100% cotton sexy BFs and then saw that ON also has a pair - on for $25 in both Canada and the US right now.</p> <p>The ON BF generally fit me well (I tried 4 other pairs on in store today to confirm, but they did not have these ones). None of the other washes&nbsp;are 100% cotton, including the non-distressed white ones,&nbsp;which feels like a&nbsp;find - waiting to see what actually shows up!&nbsp;I like the distressing because it makes the white feel less pretty/precious and a little more slightly RATE&nbsp;me.
