Ha to Dab, and me too! I don't have toe cleavage with the Okalas, but maybe it is the width because I have slightly narrow feet and they fit me perfectly.

I wish I could give Deb comedy points. :)

I have no issue with toe cleavage either so would say if you like the shoes and they don't bother you, wear them and enjoy. I bought Okalas when they first became big but the shape didn't work for my foot. :(

I have a smallish low volume foot so toe cleavage is not a common occurance for me, BUT if I'm lucky to find shoes with toe cleavage and comfort, I buy the shoes immediately! Toe cleavage is the very best cleavage ever, so much better than the other kind. Many shoe people agree. SERIOUSLY!

Hope another size works.
I avoid toe- cleavage too.
Though, I'm with deb, I don't have other options!

I think what happens is that it's hard for a shoe to fit well + toe cleavage because the foot is tapering flat there and it often IS a sign that toe box is too deep ( tall) or short. That is true for me, it's almost always a gapping sign. But some foot shapes might make it work.

I don't have toe cleavage in my Okalas, but toe cleavage does not bother me -- unless the overall impression is of a shoe that is ill-fitting or too skimpy for the foot.

Lol, deb.
Echo, toe cleavage looks like ill fitting shoes to me too. I never tried d'orsay type of shoes before, so it could be then genereal issue with this type of shoes, not just okalas.

Yes, Laura, it could be that we have similar foot proportions. I always thought that my feet are pretty standard, not really narrow but not that wide too. I could wear all kinds of shoes without problems. But they seems to be the widest at the point where Okalas top part is starting and it looks little weird.

I agree that with a d'orsay shoe, I tend to need a wide, too, otherwise I get terrible toe cleavage (and generally the sides of my feet don't look ideal in them, either). Lots of toe cleavage is definitely a deal-breaker to me. Honestly, I don't see it as attractive at all (let alone sexy, as I've heard some people say), because it makes a person look like their shoes are ill-fitting. Ill-fitting shoes are neither attractive nor sexy, IMO. But try a wide and see if it solves the issue.

I don't mind toe cleavage myself; in fact I think a little is very attractive. But I know this is a personal bugaboo for some people. I would imagine that everyone has different foot proportions and longer or shorter toes so some people are more apt to get toe cleavage than others.

I don't have a particularly wide foot - I can usually wear medium-width shoes no problem - but I haven't had much luck with this 'two-piece' type of shoe that's been popular recently. I've not tried on the Okalas, but with flatter d'orsay styles I've tried my foot just looks weird. Maybe it's wider in the middle of the foot than at the heel or toes? You could be the same, anchie.

I have long toes and no toe cleavage in this style of shoe. It does sound like your foot is peeking out from the sides of the toe box because it's a little narrow for the shape of your foot. Can't be sure though - it's just a guess.

I finally decided to join Okala party and ordered this beautiful baby zebra pair. But to my great disappointment, they created huge toe cleavage. So my question to all Okala's owners - is this normal, does that happen to you too? Or maybe is my feet too wide and does not fit properly? And what is your opinion on toe cleavage in general? For me personally this is a deal breaker.
