It's a tad big but I think it's very minor. Can you hold on to this size while you wait for the bigger one and compare the two? I have been thinking a lot about toe styles on shoes and boots and I realised the three pairs of boots I bought this winter all have different toe shapes....IMO anything goes as long as it works for you and creates the look you are after. But the calf circumference and height seems perfect. I can fit my thumb in the top and that's it. I think the heel makes my foot angle so that I need more room somehow. I am going thinking of exchanging for a 1/2 size up. They are a heavy almost pebbled leather and seem very sturdy. A little western looking with the stitching detail, but so were the ones they are replacing.
