Also try adding a spoonful of vinegar or lemon juice to a glassful or so of water to rinse your hair with every time you wash it --- this should effectively be your last rinse. These are ingredients used by those who prefer redder (hence paler) henna here, so it should help lighten yours as well. Washing with chamomile tea might help too. </p> <p>Also, be sure your shampoo is ph-balanced --- henna dyes darken in a basic reaction.
